Easter 2011

This year Easter was a bit of a disaster. We were in the process of moving out of our home while we wait for the next home to be finished. Most of our furniture was gone and David was getting ready for finals. I was so sick I could barely hold my head up on Saturday. However, we still found time to color a few eggs. Danyka was excited for Easter and to color eggs. The Holidays are starting to sink in for her and it makes it more fun for me.


When Danyka came into our room Easter morning. She said, "Mom look what Santa brought me!" We laughed and then directed her attention to the Easter bunny. We are also trying to instill the true meaning of the Holiday along with the fun and she is a fast learner.

Last year we got chickens for Easter but as we are moving we didn't get chickens this year, which was sad for us. So she got a soft little toy chick that she loved.

Daxdyn quite enjoyed his Easter as well and Danyka enjoyed showing him his Easter basket.

She almost liked his better than hers.

Daxee got a lot of toy balls and he loved chasing them and chewing on them.

Danyka in her Easter dress. I fell in love with this dress. The funny thing is that without knowing it my sister and I bought the same dress for our little girls. I look forward into seeing them together.

The Easter bunny hid eggs at Gramma Nobles house so we went there for dinner as well. Danyka was so funny. She couldn't wait to open her presents.

She couldn't wait to model them for everyone either.

Danyka couldn't wait to get out her new puzzle and this one is great for her with all the animals. It was perfect. We had a great holiday besides being in limbo.
