It might be a while...

So Saturday was my cousin Cree's wedding. David, Danyka and I went. It was early in the morning so we left in quite the rush. When the ceremony was over I still had to do Danyka's hair before pictures. At the SLC Temple they have automatic sinks. I set Danyka up on the counter and use the water to wet down her hair so I could control it a little better. Danyka was hungry, tired and not in the mood to have her hair done. She kept moving and eventually knocked the diaper bag that was up on the counter into the sink. I didn't even give it a second thought as I almost had her hair in the right spot, besides the outside of the bag is waterproof right? Well I forgot about the automatic water spigot. Water was running full tilt into the diaper bag which had my camera in it for the upcoming picture moment. Needless to say everything was wet including the camera. My camera is now properly ruined so it might be a while before you get some updated pictures or posts. Got to love a 1 1/2 year-old. She's my little angel. :-)

EASTER pictures

This is my favorite picture. Danyka loves her daddy.

Danyka enjoyed the basket of eggs and the nice Easter weather.

This was after church. We tried to get a family picture before going to Gramma Nobles house for dinner.

Danyka liked the bunny ears from Grammy Nichols. She had a blast opening her Easter basket.

The problem was the basket started to get heavy with all of the candy filled eggs.

She wanted to carry the basket around with her.

I wasn't sure how Danyka would do on Easter morning finding the Eggs. To my surprise she did amazingly well. She caught onto the idea quickly.

Danyka though that the eggs were like the colored plastic eggs she has been playing with and she wanted to break them open.

Danee got so she could lift the eggs out with the holder.

I love Easter. David gets a little fed up with my holiday obsession, but he was a good sport. We colored eggs on Saturday and Danyka did surprisingly well when she wasn't trying to throw the eggs. Good thing they were hard boiled.

Birthday Present

This is David and I after the concert. We had a blast and it was a great Birthday present!

This is my old friend Benton Paul. He is tiny. He was always small in school but he stayed small. He's one of those naturally talented people who had perfect pitch and was writing songs at the age of 7. The security was tight and they wouldn't let us take pictures with him so we had to get one from a far.

This was me after the show. I bought my friends CD and waited in line to get his autograph.

David Archuleta was a great entertainer. He was constant singing and extremely energetic. I thoroughly enjoyed him. We had great seats but unfortunately the people next to us weren't as energetic as I was. I hate it when I go to a concert when the people next to me wont stand up and get into the show.

I know you can't see the stage but oh well. The opening act!

For my Birthday, David got tickets to the David Archuleta concert. As a side note before we got the tickets I found out an old friend of mine from elementary school had gotten the opportunity to open for him. I was way excited to see him again. I had the biggest crush on him from the 2nd grade till about 6th grade. So I had a double purpose in going.

Golden Birthday 26 on the 26th!

I'm going to appoligize up front for all the pictures of me, but I do try to document me at least on my Birthday. Everyone in my family seems to dread getting older. I don't know, maybe someday I'll get to that point, but for right now I try to embrace my birthdays. I think we are lucky each time we get to have a birthday. We have experienced another year of life and have been lucky enough to add another candle to our cake. I couldn't be happier with my life right now. I love my husband and my daughter. I have a great job, a wonderful supportive family and good friends. I do wish I was done with school but at least I'm going, and I love what I am learning. I know it will be over soon enough.

My mother will hate this picture, but I can't have a birthday without mentioning my mom. I am so grateful for her and her help. I wouldn't be here without her. She pushes me to be better everyday and Danyka loves her so much.
David worked on my birthday so I went to dinner with my family at one of my favorites, Los Hermonos. I did miss the Lewis clan but I appreciated the effort of the rest of them to be there for me. Thanks Dad, Taly, Randy, Ryun and Bailey for being there. I got to talk to my oldest brother Ruxton on the phone. I look forward to his call every year. It's the one time we actually talk to each other.

Danyka truly is the highlight of my life. I love her so much. Watching her grow and experience life has been the most wonderful thing to witness. She helps me to appreciate the little things in life.

10 years ago, I got my Drivers Licence on my 16th birthday. I had to get me a new licence for my birthday because mine expired. I finally changed my name on my ID. David said it's about time.

Just me and my girl, the best part about my birthday.

Peek a Boo

Danyka has taken to playing Peek a boo on her own and she thinks she's pretty funny so I had to get a picture.

The other night I was doing homework and David happened to be nice enough to give Danee a bath, change her diaper and get her ready for bed. It is such a rare occurrence at least when I'm at home, that I had to get a picture of it. :) I love you honey!
