I have been working so much lately it has killed me to be away from my kids. I decided to take a kid day and I took
Danee and
Dax to the new park and forgot about all I had to get done at my house. My Mom was out of town with my Sister and her kids so we decided we needed our own party.

I took a bunch of pictures to document my soon to be three year old. I usually try to do some sort of a photo shoot around their birthday so I don't forget their personality.

Daxdyn was holding down the fort with all of our stuff.
Danee was having a blast.

This new park has everything. A ropes
corse, a rock climbing section, slides, swings, teeter tauter and more.

This is my favorite picture of the day. This looks just like my littler girl and you can almost see the rarely seen dimple.
Dax was such a good boy. I've decided it is hard to take care of two kids at the park.
Danyka was brave and climbed everything.

Big girl going down the slide.

Squish the bee.

This little boy was funny and kept trying to play with
Danee.

I laughed out loud when I first saw this picture. So
Danee.

These little chairs spin and spin and spin when you sit on them.

Hanging out.

Happy boy.

Deep in thought.

Another
cheeser
I know she looks drunk but she was starting to get tired but she liked the swings.

We took a picnic and had lunch.
Daxdyn was super smiley,

and talkative. Can't you just hear him?
Peanut butter cheeks.

There is a living fountain at the park. It's really cool. I didn't expect
Danyka to enjoy it so much or I would have brought a suit, but she had fun anyway.

At first she just ran around the water.

Thinking she was pretty cool.

Barely getting wet.

Running back for more.

ooops! Too close.

"Mommy I'm wet." "That's okay." "I need a
wimming suit."

That didn't slow her down for long.

Having a BLAST.

The smile before the slip.

"Oh no Mom, I got dirty."
Who even cares about the skinned knee?

The simple sheer joy of a child.

Soaking wet.

Trying to be good and document mom at the park too.
Dax fell asleep while we played in the water.
It was a great day. I loved taking a Mommy day and just playing with my kids. We missed Daddy, but we had so much fun.
