Keith Urban 9/9/9

David took me to the David Archuleta concert for my birthday, so I took him the the Keith Urban concert for his birthday. He wanted to see Nickelback and so did I, but I was too scared of the USANA amphitheater to go so we went to Keith and I'm so glad we did. It was hands down the best concert I have ever been to, especially at the ESA. He didn't just sing songs from his current album. He sang hit after hit. He didn't really even take a break. He had each of the guys in his band introduce themselves by singing a clip of a song. It was so cool. They are obviously very talented guys and had the crowd screaming. After they were done performing they stayed out for a bit and signed autographs for people on the floor before disappearing. He seems to really appreciate his fans. We had so much fun! When we first got there the Radio stations were there blaring music. We stopped outside of KSOP which was throwing stress balls to the crowd David caught one and so did I. We won a KSOP shirt.

They had huge posters everywhere with Keith on them.

Little Big Town was the opening act. I don't know them very well so I wasn't able to sing a long which I like to do. I couldn't believe how long it took people get there seats. When the opening act started the arena was only about half full.

Me cheesing it with and excited grin as Keith Urban walked out on stage.

As you can see there was this awesome screen which moved and had an awesome picture. I felt like I had a front row seat the whole time.

We really did have good seats and Keith was out in the crowd the whole night. I think I stood for all but about 4 songs. He had the crowd on their feet the whole time.

David enjoying the concert.

Like I said Keith was in the crowd the whole night. (Notice the awesome mullet in front of me) They put up the pedestal at the very back of the Arena. Keith ran back and stayed on the pedestal right in front of us for 3 songs.

I felt like he was singing to me. He dedicated this song to his wife.

He had the crowd eating out of his hands.

A little later on Keith came running through the crowd again. This pic is of him playing while fighting the crowd.

Keith came up on our side and was about 20 feet away from us. I couldn't believe he was right there.

He held out his mic a lot and had the whole crowd singing the songs with him. The in house choir was incredible. The sound just rocked you.

David was taking the pictures because he was taller than the crowd. These pictures make me wish I could take a nicer camera into the ESA. :(

Nearing the end of the night the crowed was still on their feet.

This is David and I outside the tour bus. Keith's head is cut off. That's what we get for asking and elderly gentleman to take our picture.

Me on the backside of the tour bus,

David and I on our high after the concert!!

The Temple was beautiful.

Just a little taste. Sorry it is so sort, but you can tell how cool the screen was.
