This is Our Christmas Card this Year. I have mailed them... Late of course. We took the pictures in November and I thought I would be so on top of things this year. I ran into a few snags with school, so I'm just barely getting around to real life again. As a disclaimer my mother has almost always done our Christmas Cards in rhyme, and it is a tradition which has carried down to at least me and my oldest sister. I think it adds a bit of interest but I'm not as talented as my mother in this pursuit. I hope you like it. Happy Holidays!

Another crazy year has come and gone,
And we have kept busy with Danyka Dawn.
With “yes’s” and “no’s” and other ups and downs,
She has experienced the worlds’ sights and sounds.
Parenting has been a rewarding and exciting activity.
Besides surviving spit up, diaper changing, and an increase in laundry,
We’ve witnessed each stage; cutting teeth, first words and crawling to walking.
We have loved each budding minute and can’t wait to hear her talking.
David has done his share of playing Daddy.
His activities include guy’s night to the movies with Danee.
He continues to work the Nestle warehouse at night,
So when he takes the baby in the morning he is quite a fright.
Nyree-Dawn continues part-time at work, and in her quest for education.
She still has one year and a half before her completion.
She could not do it without the help of a supportive family.
For their willingness to watch the baby, we thank them greatly.
We look forward to the surprises of a new year.
Your love and friendship, to our heart, we hold dear.
This time of year, our Savior, please remember.
