More than yesterday and Less than tomorrow.
David is just like a kid in a candy store in the shop. I bet he knows more about it than anyone else.
Saying good bye to Great Grandma and Great Grandpa.
This is the little house which Davids grandpa built and raised 7 kids. 
Right next door is the house Davids grandpa grew up in, built by Davids great grandpa.
Danee watched the other kids playing in the rain. Our camping chairs got soaked so we were glad when the Sun came back out and dried up everything.
I think I got too busy to take pictures of all the activities. Later that night David's sister had sewn for who knows how many hours so we could have a "build a bear" work shop. She had made all kinds of bear skins and out fits. All the great grand kids got to make a bear. We stuffed the bodies and sewed the bums and dressed them. The kids had a good time. That night we had fireworks at the neighbors parking lot. David set up a projector and a sheet and inside the big canape you can see and we watched a movie. 
Danee had fun meeting everybody and playing with the other kids.
The kids all take turns for the foot races according to age. Unfortunately Danees age group was first and we missed it.
David even ran with the big boys and came in second. I was so proud!!
Before we went to the City of Rocks we had lunch at a near by park. 
There was a snake the kids wanted to play with. It started getting a little snappy after a while.
We took pictures at the park. Danyka had fun being free.
This is my cute sisters family. They are always picture perfect.
This is a the view of the city from out lunch spot. It was a beautiful day. After lunch we went to an information spot and watched a video about the City of Rocks. It's a pretty cool spot. I remember going to the City of Rock for reunions when I was a little kid. It was fun to take my kid... full circle.
We gathered at the base of bath rock.
All the kids wanted to go to the top. If I had been wearing better shoes other than sandals I would have gone. They have some foot holds so it's easier to get up, but I was amazed at how well the kids did. There were some crazy free climber who just climbed up where ever they could find.
Danyka enjoyed the show. 
Everyone saying hi from the top. All the Moms were freaking out. I was glad I didn't have a kid big enough to get to the top.
It started to storm so we got everyone off Bath rock fast. It was beautiful as the clouds rolled in and it began to rain. I had to snap a few pictures. I've decided I'm better at landscapes.
After the City of Rocks we went to the Melcher Mine my Aunt Deb's house for dinner. The rain really started to come down making for a chilly night but the reward was B-E-A-utiful.

Danyka got bored in the car waiting for everyone and took out her hair but she had fun once we all finally got together. She went straight for my Aunt Paula. 
This is Ruxton my oldest brother. He did show up for the scavenger hunt, but he spent most of his time touring on his bike.
We put Ruxton and my cousin Eric on the same team for the hunt.
The scavenger hunt was actually kind of fun. We found we were related to somewhere around 77 people in the little cemetery. I've been witness to way too many of those relatives. Pictured here are my grandparents on my mothers side and my cousin Amy.
